Dental caries is still one of the most common oral health problems among elementary school children. Lack of knowledge regarding proper tooth brushing techniques can increase the risk of dental caries. One effort to improve children`s knowledge is through health education using storytelling and roleplay methods. This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of the combination of storytelling and roleplay methods as dental health educaton media in improving knowledge of dental caries prevention among elementary school students. This study used a quantitative method with a pre-experimental design. The sample consisted of 52 students aged 7-9 years in the srondol health center area. The research instrument used a validated questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the wilcoxon signed rank test. The results showed that the level of knowledge before the intervention (pre-test) was 71% and increased to 73% after the intervention (post-test).
